Our Accessibility Policy
Tribe Medical’s Accessibility Policy outlines our commitment to:
- Providing goods, services, and facilities in a way that respects the dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity of persons with disabilities.
- Allowing the use of assistive devices, service animals, and support persons.
- Providing accessible information and communications upon request.
- Ensuring our public websites and online content meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards.
- Integrating accessibility into our recruitment, employment, and career development practices.
- Meeting Ontario’s accessible design standards when constructing or redeveloping public spaces.
- Providing AODA and Ontario Human Rights Code training to employees, volunteers, and contractors.
Temporary Service Disruptions
If there is a temporary disruption of any goods, services, or facilities used by persons with disabilities, Tribe Medical will provide notice to the public. The notice will include the reason for the disruption, its expected duration, and any available alternative options. Notices will be provided in accessible formats or with communication supports upon request.
Individualized Emergency Response Plans
Tribe Medical provides individualized workplace emergency response information for employees with disabilities who require it. This information is kept confidential and reviewed whenever the employee’s role or location changes, or upon request.
