Gordon McArthur

Co-Founder / President

Gordon began his medical sales career in 1984 in the Southwestern, Ontario region and has dedicated the past 14 years to Orthopaedic medical device sales. Tribe was founded in 2006 and is the largest privately owned Canadian orthopaedic medical company, still owned by its 2 co-founders.

He is the proud single Father of 3 boys, aged 19, 15 & 13. Gord is an avid sports fan; Toronto Maple Leafs and of course his sons, being his favourite teams.

Chris Johnson

Co-Founder / Managing Partner

Chris co-founded Tribe Medical Group with Gordon in 2006. He got his start in Orthopaedic sales back in 1993. A graduate from the University of Ottawa, he played football for the Gee-Gees while earning a degree in Social Sciences.

He traded in his cleats for a mountain bike and a snowboard and lives in Wakefield, QC with his wife Maria and their son Ryely.

Nicole Archibald

Chief Financial Officer

Nicole joined the Tribe in January 2012. Her responsibilities include finance, operations and human resources. With 22 years of experience working in finance and other oversight roles, Nicole brings a variety of related talents and structure to Tribe.

Most recently, Nicole was the VP Finance and Administration for Fort Chicago Power, a subsidiary of Veresen Inc. (a publically traded company).

Nicole obtained her CA designation in 1992 and worked at Ernst and Young for over half of her career. She holds an HBA from the Business School at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

A proud mother of two children, Nicole is active in FEI Canada and an avid Triathlete.

Neil McComb

Western Canada
Director of Sales

Neil is the Western Canada Sales manager for TMG. Neil has a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC. Before entering medical sales, he was a personal trainer and exercise therapist at Golden Ears Physiotherapy in Maple Ridge B.C.

With over 17 years in medical sales and rehabilitation, his expertise from a business and clinical perspective is key to Tribe’s success. With a team of over ten representatives and specialists in the West his goal is to continue to provide the best service in the industry. He is a two-time Ironman finisher and is an avid cyclist. He and his wife Shannon have two sons.

Tim Laudel

Ontario & Atlantic Canada
Director of Sales

Tim has been with Tribe Medical Group from its inception in 2006. His role initially was as a distributor sales consultant managing the SW Ontario territory, and in July 2011, took on the role of Regional Sales Manager for the Central (Ontario) region. Tim currently manages a team of 12 sales consultants and one product specialist.

Tim has 20 years of healthcare sales and marketing experience, the last 15 years in orthopaedic medical devices. He spent almost seven years in marketing, launching new products into the Canadian market, training sales representatives, and developing a medical education program for orthopaedic surgeons and residents. He then spent six years managing a territory selling the Arthrex, Tornier, and LifeNet Health product portfolios in SW Ontario.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Calgary along with a Master of Science degree in Developmental Neurobiology from the National University of Singapore.

Tony Simmons

Eastern Ontario & Quebec
Director of Sales

Tony has been with Tribe since inception in 2006. He has worked in the device industry for over 10 years and his experience spans all aspects of orthopaedics including arthroplasty, arthroscopy, capital equipment and video imaging.

His passion is technology, and the drive to bring the most current consumer innovations to endoscopic imaging.
